The Distilled series transforms Distillery 98 into a pop-up gallery each month, showcasing a featured artist’s work in a relaxed, social setting. Broxson’s residency will include a gallery-style installation, an opening reception, and an interactive workshop designed to engage both collectors and casual art enthusiasts alike.

On Thursday, March 26, more than 400 music lovers gathered at the Pavilion at Watersound® Town Center for an unforgettable evening celebrating original music at the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County’s 2nd Annual “Made in Walton County” Songwriters Showdown. The CAA of Walton County proudly announces Renee Broxson as the Featured Artist for the 38th Annual ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival. Her custom artwork—Crowned in Courage—will be showcased on all ArtsQuest marketing materials. The festival, a beloved May tradition, will take place May 2 & 3, 2026, at Grand Boulevard Town Center’s North Park.

The first time I witnessed the Cultural Arts Alliance’s Beyond Bars songwriting program was at a concert in January 2025. What I experienced was incomparable joy, a new depth of sadness, and a hope so big it filled my chest—rooting for men I had barely met. Learning from Caitlin Cannon and watching the transformative power of songwriting unfold inside those walls changed how I see music, and humanity, forever.

The CAA has added two vibrant new masterpieces to Walton County’s cultural landscape, marking another bold milestone for its Art in Public Spaces program. Internationally renowned street artist Kelsey Montague, known for her larger-than-life, interactive murals, has brought her signature style — and her famous wings — to the The Pavilion at Watersound® Town Center at 85 Origins Main Street and the newly opened Grayton Beach Central Parking Facility on County Road 283 South.

The Cultural Arts Alliance (CAA) of Walton County is honored to be selected once again as a charity partner for the 2025 30A 10K Thanksgiving Day races. This year’s races will take place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in downtown Rosemary Beach and will feature a 10K, 5K, and 1-mile fun run.
