The Cultural Arts Alliance (CAA) of Walton County is now accepting submissions from current CAA member artists for a special Foster Gallery Outreach Exhibition at Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) in Grand Boulevard Town Center.
Artists may submit up to three original works for consideration in this juried exhibition, which will be on display in the ECTC lobby from September 10, 2026, through February 8, 2027.
Designed to complement ECTC's exciting 2026–2027 Season 14 productions—including Come From Away, The 39 Steps, Million Dollar Quartet Christmas, and 9 to 5: The Musical—the exhibition offers audiences the opportunity to experience visual art alongside live performance.
Theme: Beyond Color - A Black & White Photography Exhibition
The CAA invites photographers to submit compelling black and white images that celebrate the power of light, shadow, texture, and composition. Subject matter may include:
Natural landscapes
Architecture
Portraiture
Street scenes
Abstract imagery
All artwork must be original, family-friendly, and aligned with the exhibition theme. Nude imagery will not be considered.
About the Foster Gallery Outreach Program
Established in 2016, The Foster Gallery was created to honor CAA founder, artist, and educator Susan Foster while showcasing the exceptional talent of local and regional artists. As the program has grown, it has evolved into the Foster Gallery Outreach Program, expanding beyond a traditional gallery setting to bring visual art into public and community spaces throughout Walton County.
Through these outreach exhibitions, artists gain valuable opportunities to exhibit and sell their work while connecting with new and diverse audiences in unique venues.
This special collaboration with Emerald Coast Theatre Company continues that mission by pairing visual art with live theatre—creating an inspiring cultural experience that celebrates creativity across artistic disciplines.
Current CAA member artists are encouraged to submit their strongest work for this exciting exhibition opportunity.
