Learn hand-building, wheel-throwing, glazing techniques, and more from skilled instructors in a supportive environment.

Open Studio Membership (Prior pottery experience in the past 2 years required. Pricing subject to change.) Open Studio members work independently with access to professional equipment, dedicated studio space, and exclusive studio perks. To ensure a safe, productive, and enjoyable studio experience, members should have a working knowledge of basic pottery techniques, equipment, and clay processes.

• Members should be comfortable with the proper use and care of pottery wheels, slab rollers, wall extruders, and basic hand-building tools, as well as general studio safety and cleanup practices.

• A foundational understanding of the clay process is also important, including the stages of greenware, leather hard, bone dry, and bisque ware, and how each stage affects handling, decorating, and firing.

• Members should also have experience with basic glazing techniques, including dipping, brushing, layering glazes, and working with underglazes. Our studio uses Cone 6 mid-fire clay and glazes, so familiarity with this firing range, including appropriate clay and glaze compatibility, is recommended.

• Open Studio is designed for artists who are ready to work independently while taking advantage of professional equipment and a creative community. Members are responsible for understanding proper equipment use, following studio guidelines, and maintaining a clean, respectful shared workspace.

Monthly Fee Options:

• $130: 4 sessions

• $180: 6 sessions

• $210: 8 sessions

• $290: 12 sessions​

Daily Drop-In:

• $35 per session (2-session minimum)

• Clay not included; must be purchased from the studio
  To guarantee a wheel and shelf, payment must be made on or before the 5th of each month. Payment accepted in person or by phone.

Firing Services

• $35 per kiln shelf – Bisque

• $40 per kiln shelf – Self-glazed work

Clay Sales

• $40 for a 25 lb. bag of clay

• $1 per pound for recycled clay
