Emerald Coast Storytellers
As part of its mission to foster the inclusive and collaborative advancement of the Arts in Walton County, the Cultural Arts Alliance may establish program partnerships with mission-aligned nonprofit and for-profit organizations in support of its vision for a thriving Walton County in which everyone can experience the power of the Arts.
Emerald Coast Storytellers (ECS) is a local writers group that seeks to provide uniquely curated events revolving around the spoken and written word. Their mission is to help locals and visitors alike discover, foster, and reignite their creative passions - both on and off the page. They offer literary programming such as writing nights, open mic opportunities, writing workshops, story-pairing dinners and more.
ECS recently launched their new original podcast, Emerald Coast Storytellers, with hosts and ECS founders, Kristy and Ali. You can access the episodes on Spotify or YouTube. Kristy and Ali share, "Storytellers began with the idea and universal truth that everyone has a story to tell. Our goal is to provide one of the world’s many stages. It started in the backyard of our own 30A beach community, and now, with this podcast, we’re so excited to bring Emerald Coast Storytellers to wherever you are in the world."
