The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) is delighted to announce the newest Foster Gallery exhibition, featuring original works by talented regional artists on display at Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC), 560 Grand Blvd, Ste. 200, Miramar Beach.
The public is invited to a special Opening Reception celebrating art and creativity on Friday, February 27, from 5:45 – 6:45 p.m. in the ECTC lobby. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the featured artists, enjoy light refreshments, and connect with fellow art enthusiasts in a relaxed, welcoming environment. This event is open to all ages.
The exhibit will be on display in the ECTC lobby through June 5, 2026, complementing ECTC’s Season 13 productions: Forever Plaid and Mystic Pizza. Much like Forever Plaid transports audiences to the harmonious, heartfelt sounds and camaraderie of 1950s pop quartets, and Mystic Pizza captures friendship, ambition, and coming-of-age moments set against a beloved small-town backdrop, Retro Americana visually echoes these themes of nostalgia, connection, and cultural memory. The featured artwork invites patrons to step more fully into the eras and emotions reflected on stage, creating a cohesive and immersive arts experience that bridges visual and performing arts.
Featured artists include Emily Day, Dwayne Jones, Linda Kernick, Pam Ridler and Kathy Schumacher. All participating artists are members of the Cultural Arts Alliance. Selected works are available for purchase online.
