The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) is delighted to announce the newest Foster Gallery exhibition, featuring original works by talented regional artists on display at Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC), 560 Grand Blvd, Ste. 200, Miramar Beach.
The public is invited to a special Opening Reception celebrating art and creativity on Friday, October 24, from 5:30 – 6:45 p.m. in the ECTC lobby. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the featured artists, enjoy light refreshments, and connect with fellow art enthusiasts in a relaxed, welcoming environment. This event is open to all ages.
The exhibit will be on display in the ECTC lobby through January 30, 2026, complementing ECTC’s Season 13 productions: Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, The Glass Menagerie, and Annie.
Titled “She Persists: Journeys of Self-Discovery and Unwavering Spirit,” the exhibition explores and celebrates the personal paths of women as they navigate identity, independence, resilience, and hope. From Carole King’s inspiring artistic ascent to Laura Wingfield’s quiet strength and Annie’s unstoppable optimism, the exhibit highlights the many faces of feminine perseverance. Just as these iconic stories unfold on stage, the artwork offers a visual counterpart that deepens and enriches the themes presented in ECTC’s Season 13 offerings.
Featured artists include Renee Broxson, Kim Clark, Linda Kernick, Linda Moriarty, Patti Overholt, Sarah Page, Katrina Scobie, Whitney Silva, Sue Small, and Bryant Galloway Whelan. All participating artists are members of the Cultural Arts Alliance. Selected works are available for purchase online at CulturalArtsAlliance.com/visual-arts-program.
