The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) invites current CAA member artists to submit up to three original works for consideration in the next Foster Gallery Outreach Special Exhibit at Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC). This themed exhibition will be on display in the ECTC lobby from September 12, 2025 through January 30, 2026, and is designed to complement ECTC’s Season 13 productions: Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, The Glass Menagerie, and Annie.

Titled “She Persists: Journeys of Self-Discovery and Unwavering Spirit,” the exhibit will explore and celebrate the personal paths of women as they navigate identity, independence, resilience, and hope. From Carole King’s inspiring artistic ascent to Laura Wingfield’s quiet strength and Annie’s unstoppable optimism, these stories highlight the many faces of feminine perseverance.

ABOUT THE FOSTER GALLERY The Foster Gallery was established by the CAA in 2016 as a space to showcase the work of local and regional artists. Named in honor of CAA founder, artist and educator Susan Foster, the gallery quickly became a beloved venue for art exhibitions, workshops, and community engagement. Over the years, the gallery has provided an essential platform for both emerging and established artists, creating opportunities for artists to exhibit and sell their work while engaging with the public.

Recognizing the need to expand its reach beyond a single location, the CAA has transformed The Foster Gallery into a Visual Arts Outreach Program that brings art into the heart of the community. This initiative allows artists to display and sell their work in multiple locations throughout Walton County, making art more accessible to diverse audiences.
