CAA Announces Special 30A Songwriters Festival Exhibit at Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport
The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) and the 30A Songwriters Festival are celebrating the power of music, art, and community through a special exhibit at Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP), featuring custom festival backdrops created by artists Russell Beans, Paul Flack, Bryan Hand, Matt Lyons, Michael McCarty, and Raquel Morgan.
This Art in Public Spaces exhibit, which is supported in part by Visit South Walton, brings the visual artistry and creative spirit of the 30A Songwriters Festival to one of Northwest Florida’s busiest gateways, offering travelers a glimpse into the talent and artistic collaborations that help make the festival a signature cultural experience along the Emerald Coast.
A longtime sponsor and supporter of the 30A Songwriters Festival, ECP continues to demonstrate its commitment to celebrating the region’s vibrant arts and culture. The airport recently earned second place in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Resort Airport, placing among 10 outstanding airports nominated from across the country. The recognition reflects the support of travelers and the community ECP serves.
“We are incredibly grateful for community partners like Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport who recognize the value of the arts and help us share the creative spirit of our region with residents and visitors alike,” said Jennifer Steele, President & CEO of the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County. “Collaborations like this allow us to celebrate the incredible artists who call our community home while introducing even more people to the music, creativity, and connections that make the 30A Songwriters Festival so special. We are proud to celebrate ECP’s continued support and this well-deserved national recognition.”
“We’re excited to continue our partnership with the Cultural Arts Alliance to welcome travelers with this artistic display featuring the 30A Songwriters Festival. It highlights the music, art, and culture that helps define our community in the terminal and creates an unforgettable first impression that connects passengers to our region,” said Parker McClellan, Executive Director at Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport.
The 18th annual 30A Songwriters Festival returns January 15–18, 2027, bringing more than 160 acclaimed songwriters to 30 venues across South Walton for four days of live music, storytelling, and unforgettable performances. Presented by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County in partnership with Russell Carter Artist Management, the festival has become a nationally recognized destination for music lovers, celebrating the craft of songwriting across genres and generations.

The 2027 festival lineup features an exceptional collection of headliners, including Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Larkin Poe, Booker T. Jones, and Tommy Emmanuel, CGP, with additional headline performances by Dawes, S.G. Goodman, and Paul McDonald & the Mourning Doves at the Friday festival kickoff in the SEASIDE® Amphitheater. Performances will take place across the region, with the main stage at Grand Boulevard Town Center and the kickoff celebration in Seaside anchoring a weekend of intimate listening-room experiences, outdoor concerts, and musical discoveries.
As the Cultural Arts Alliance’s largest annual fundraiser, the festival also helps sustain arts programming and expand access to the arts throughout Walton County, supporting initiatives ranging from artist grants and scholarships to arts education and the Beyond Bars prison arts outreach program.
