CAA Unveils New Foster Gallery Outreach Exhibit at Emerald Coast Theatre Company
The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) is pleased to announce Beyond Color, the newest Foster Gallery Outreach exhibition, featuring original black and white photography by talented regional artists. The exhibition is on view in the lobby of Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC), located at 560 Grand Blvd., Suite 200, in Miramar Beach, through Feb. 8, 2027.
The public is invited to celebrate the exhibition and its featured artists at a special Opening Reception on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 5:45–6:45 p.m. in the ECTC lobby. Guests will have the opportunity to meet participating artists, enjoy light refreshments, and connect with fellow art enthusiasts in a relaxed and welcoming setting. The reception is free and open to all ages.
Beyond Color explores the expressive power of black and white photography, inviting viewers to look beyond color and experience the interplay of light, shadow, texture, composition, and emotion captured through the lens.
Featured artists include Jamie Birchfield, John Burns, Megan Cash, Amber DeCicco, Emily Ellis, Doug Foltz, Connor Foshee, Emily Little, and Katrina Scobie. All participating artists are members of the Cultural Arts Alliance.
The exhibition provides an opportunity for ECTC audiences and the broader community to experience original artwork alongside the theatre’s Season 14 productions, including Come From Away, The 39 Steps, Million Dollar Quartet Christmas, and 9 to 5: The Musical. Artwork featured in the exhibition is available for purchase online through the CAA’s site at CulturalArtsAlliance.com/visual-arts-program.
The Foster Gallery Outreach Program extends the reach of the CAA’s Foster Gallery exhibitions by bringing original artwork into community spaces throughout Walton County, creating additional opportunities for artists to connect with new audiences while making the arts more accessible to the community.
