Call For Artists: CAA Art Bazaar at Watersound® Town Center

The Cultural Arts Alliance (CAA), with support from the St. Joe Community Foundation, invites artists, artisans, makers, and small businesses to be part of the CAA Art Bazaar at Watersound® Town Center this fall.

Held in conjunction with two evenings of the popular First Friday Concert Series, the Art Bazaar transforms the East Lawn into a lively open-air marketplace where visitors can shop original artwork, handcrafted goods, and unique finds while enjoying live music and a vibrant community atmosphere.

2026 Art Bazaar Dates

Friday, October 2
Friday, December 4

The Art Bazaar will be open 4:00–8:00 p.m., with live music from 6:00–8:00 p.m.

This is an excellent opportunity to connect with the Watersound Origins community, introduce your work to new collectors, and be part of an evening celebrating creativity, music, and family-friendly fun.

Space is limited, and participation is by application. We encourage interested artists to review the guidelines below and apply early.

Eligible Vendors

Applications are welcome from:

Visual artists
Artisans and fine craft makers
Select makers
Farmers market vendors
Small businesses offering unique products, homegrown goods, vintage treasures, and artful décor

Booth Information

One (1) 10' x 10' booth space is provided.
Booth Fee: $80 for non-members | $60 for CAA Members

Artists are responsible for providing:

Tent (plain white preferred)
Tent weights or stakes
Tables and chairs
Display materials
Lighting (solar or battery-powered recommended)
Payment processing equipment

The CAA provides the designated booth space only.

Artists are responsible for collecting and remitting all applicable sales tax.

Event Schedule

Load-In

Begins at 2:30 p.m.
Check in with the CAA Event Director on the east side of The Pavilion.
Vehicles may briefly pull curbside to unload if traffic flow is maintained.
Once unloaded, vehicles must be moved to a designated parking space before booth setup.

Set-Up

All booths must be fully installed and ready to open by 4:00 p.m.
Early shopping begins at 4:00 p.m.

During the Event

Art Bazaar: 4:00–8:00 p.m.
First Friday Concert: 6:00–8:00 p.m.
Booths must remain open and staffed until the event concludes at 8:00 p.m.
All tents must be securely weighted or staked.
Sunset is approximately 7:00 p.m.; artists should bring solar or battery-powered lighting, as electrical access is limited.

Load-Out

Breakdown begins promptly at 8:00 p.m.
Early departures are not permitted.
Vehicles may return for loading once pedestrian traffic has cleared (approximately 8:15 p.m.) and event staff indicate it is safe.
Please remove all displays, trash, and debris before leaving your space.

Artist Reminder

Artists are responsible for all booth equipment and setup, securing tents with appropriate weights or stakes, processing sales, collecting and remitting sales tax, and leaving their booth space clean at the conclusion of the event.
