First Friday Fall Concert Series Returns

Four Fridays. Four free concerts. One great reason to get together.

Fall is calling—and it's bringing live music with it! The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County, Russell Carter Artist Management, Watersound® Town Center and the St. Joe Community Foundation are excited to bring back the First Friday Fall Concert Series for its second year at The Pavilion at Watersound® Town Center.

Following the success of the summer concert showcases, we're keeping the music going with four free, family-friendly evenings of live music, community, and fun on September 4, October 2, November 6, and December 4.

Each concert features an opening act and headliner performing original music from artists connected to the nationally recognized 30A Songwriters Festival. It's a chance to discover new favorites, enjoy a relaxed night out with friends and family, and get a taste of the incredible talent that will take the stage throughout South Walton when the festival returns in January.

The Music Starts September 4

The second annual series kicks off Friday, September 4, from 6–8 p.m. with The Pink Stones. Bring your chairs, coolers, and dancing shoes, settle in under the covered pavilion, and enjoy a free evening of original music, good vibes, and community connection.

Food options will also be available for purchase, so come early, grab a bite, find your spot, and make an evening of it.

With easy parking and plenty of room to spread out, it's the perfect way to kick off your weekend—and a great reminder that some of the best nights don't have to cost a thing.

Art Bazaar: 4–8 p.m. on October 2 and December 4

Adding to the fun, the October 2 and December 4 concerts will also feature an Art Bazaar, opening at 4 p.m. before the music begins.

The public is invited to shop and support local artists and makers offering a curated selection of unique, original works. It's the perfect way to connect with creativity, discover something

special, and kick off an evening of live music.

Come for the art, stay for the music—and maybe knock a few names off your holiday shopping list while you're at it.

Make It a Flutterby Weekend

The November concert offers another special reason to make a weekend of it. Following the Friday, November 6 concert featuring Webb Wilder Trio with opener Jessica Willis Fisher, the CAA’s beloved Flutterby Arts Festival returns to The Pavilion at Watersound® Town Center on Sunday, November 8.

Mark your calendar for this much-loved celebration of creativity, community, and the magical Monarch migration!

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., families can enjoy hands-on art activities, live performances, student art exhibits, a whimsical butterfly parade, and more at this beloved children’s arts festival.

Free and family-friendly, Flutterby is the perfect Sunday outing. And back by popular demand, the festival will once again feature a Holiday Artist Market, designed to help you jump-start your holiday shopping with locally crafted treasures and one-of-a-kind finds for everyone on your list.

Parking, including accessible parking, will be available on-site. All events are free and open to the public. Some Flutterby Festival activities require tickets, which can be purchased at the CAA welcome and information tents within the event.

A Little Taste of January

If these artists sound familiar, there's a reason. The Fall Concert Series offers a sneak peek at the talent and spirit behind the 30A Songwriters Festival, which returns January 15–18, 2027.

As the Cultural Arts Alliance's largest fundraiser, the festival plays an important role in supporting CAA's year-round arts programs and initiatives throughout Walton County. The Fall concerts offer a fun, free way to experience some of the artists and music connected to the festival—and maybe discover a new favorite before January rolls around.

So come for the free music, stay for the community, and let the Fall Series get you in the mood for festival season.
