Local songwriters will take the stage to share their original music and compete for cash prizes in a thrilling showcase of talent, storytelling, and passion. With a diverse lineup of artists, each performance promises to be unique and heartfelt.

Meet the Finalists

Marc Harris

A Nashville-raised multi-talented artist with a background in music, technology, and media, Marc has toured with his rock band, Radio One, and worked with renowned country artists like Lee Roy Parnell, John Berry, and Victoria Shaw. He has performed at the Grand Ole Opry and even appeared in a Shania Twain music video. Now based in Northwest Florida, he founded VIBEVILLE MUSIC to support indie artists and is set to release his solo album Southern Surf in 2025.

Emily Bass

At just 22, Emily Bass is making waves in the pop and country music scene. She has appeared multiple times on NBC's The Voice and has opened for Cole Swindell. Frequently performing along the Emerald Coast, she is currently working on her debut album, drawing comparisons to Kelsea Ballerini and Jewel while forging her own identity in the industry.

Nathan Worthey

Nathan and his wife, Brittany Worthey, have been performing throughout the Florida Panhandle for nearly a decade. Writing and releasing music under the name The Wortheys, their songs capture real-life emotions and stories through catchy melodies and harmonies. With new music on the horizon for 2025, their heartfelt songwriting continues to connect with audiences.

Gage Cowart

A blue-collar Alabama native turned rising star in red dirt country music, Gage blends traditional country with modern influences. His authentic, heartfelt storytelling has taken him from small-town venues to sharing the stage with major artists like Morgan Wallen and Deana Carter. With a growing fanbase and new music on the way, Gage remains dedicated to his roots and passionate about his craft.

Sammi Accola

A Seaside, FL native and Americana singer-songwriter, Sammi's music is inspired by the healing work of Thistle Farms, a nonprofit supporting survivors of trafficking, abuse, and addiction. She has performed at notable events like the 30A Songwriters Festival and recently opened for Thomas Rhett in Watersound Beach. Her music creates a safe space for reflection and connection.

Tom Pritchett

A Texas-born, self-taught musician and active-duty Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, Tom blends grit and storytelling in his songwriting. While serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, he used music as an outlet and has since mastered multiple instruments. Now focusing on songwriting, he is revitalizing a small-town studio in Valparaiso, FL, bringing new melodies to life.

Nate Kelly

A Berklee College of Music alum, Nate Kelly has toured the country and now resides in Freeport, Florida. Balancing music with a career in real estate, he is also a worship leader, piano tuner, and youth football coach. Whether performing or helping families find their perfect home, Nate's passion for storytelling and connection shines through in all he does.

How the Competition Works

Finalists will be judged by an esteemed panel of experts, including two-time number one, gold disc selling songwriter, producer and artist Jessica Sharman, one of Nashville's most beloved and respected artists for more than two decades Gretchen Peters, and artist manager and 30A Songwriters Festival co-producer Russell Carter.

Performers will be evaluated based on originality, songwriting, lyrics, and stage presence. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be announced at the end of the night.
