Being a Special Forces veteran I’ve been blessed to do things and visit places I never would’ve imagined growing up in Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn, New York.

During a difficult combat deployment, I embraced photography as an outlet for my fatigued and strained mental health. My goal at the time was simple, to find and appreciate the small beauties even in a dark place like war-torn Afghanistan.

As a photographer, I refrain from phrases such as “to take a picture” and “capture an image”. The reason is that this world's beauty was not meant for ownership, but rather “showcased” to be viewed, interpreted, and felt.

Simply stated, I strive to narrate the unseen stories of the world, and the unspoken words between the lines.
