The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) is proud to announce that over $30,000 in Art For All grant funding has been awarded to support arts education and creative projects benefiting more than 900 K-12 students across Walton County. In its ongoing mission to foster creativity, the CAA has granted more than $885,000 to teachers, students, artists and arts organizations over the years.

This round of funding includes 16 teacher mini grants awarded to educators representing 11 area schools including: Bay School VPK, Butler Elementary School, Freeport Elementary School, Freeport Learning Center, Freeport Middle School, Maude Saunders Elementary School, Seacoast Collegiate High School, Seaside Neighborhood School, South Walton High School, Walton Middle School, and The WISE Magnet School were awarded. These grants are designed to enhance visual, literary, and performing arts experiences for K-12 students in public, private (501c3), and homeschool environments. Funding supports materials, guest artists, field trips, and other arts-focused enrichment opportunities initiated by educators.

In addition to the teacher grants, a college scholarship was awarded to Avery Joyner of DeFuniak Springs who is pursuing a degree in the Arts. Local artist Lexi Holt received an artist grant for professional development for continuing education to advance her work, and two non-profit organizations, Emerald Coast Theatre Company and the Longleaf Writers Conference, were awarded grants to support youth arts programming and outreach.

“These grants reflect the heart of our mission: supporting the creative development of our community,” said CAA President & CEO Jennifer Steele. “When we invest in arts education, we invest in a future that values imagination, empathy, and innovation. We’re proud to help empower educators, students, and local creatives to shape a vibrant, art-rich Walton County.”

The next application deadline for Art for All grants is November 15, 2025. Eligible applicants include teachers, students, individual artists, and arts organizations. Applications and guidelines can be found at CulturalArtsAlliance.com/artist-resources.
