Set the Table! Slab Building Workshop with Courtney Krempa

As the season turns toward cozy dinners and full tables, join us for an evening of hand-building. In this workshop we will explore creating with slabs, which are rolled out sheets of clay. Slab building is the perfect technique for creating pieces to be gathered around. You’ll learn foundational techniques to construct a functional piece of art.

In this session, you will choose one of three slab designs to create and customize to make your own. Each piece is designed with the holiday table in mind — something you’ll pull out year after year, or gift to someone you love!
