About the event
The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County, in partnership with Emerald Coast Storytellers and Distillery 98, invites the community to experience Story Meets Canvas, a one-night-only fusion of visual art and live storytelling on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
This special event brings together two creative forces—Emerald Coast Storytellers’ signature live storytelling series and Distillery 98’s Distilled: An Artist Series—for an immersive evening where stories unfold alongside a curated gallery experience. Guests will have the opportunity to engage with art in multiple forms, as spoken word and visual expression converge in a shared space.
Held at Distillery 98, the evening begins with a gallery viewing and happy hour at 5:00 PM, allowing attendees to explore the featured artist’s work and connect with fellow creatives. Live storytelling begins at 6:00 PM, featuring a lineup of local voices sharing original stories centered around the evening’s theme, “Unsung Heroes.”
