About the event
As humans, we turn to myth and metaphor to make meaning and foster connection. In this immersive two-day workshop, participants will draw from personal experiences and shared, universal stories to create one-of-a-kind figurative ceramic storytelling busts.
Students will learn how to hand-build hollow bust forms, explore surface texture and detailing techniques, and apply layered underglaze to bring depth, symbolism, and narrative to their finished pieces.
