Diana Lane is the Director of Public Relations for Alys Beach and a key member of the town’s marketing division. Diana enjoys the privilege of leading media relations efforts and guiding the brand voice across Alys Beach’s internal and external channels, crafting and sharing the stories behind the vision, development, and life of the town.

As an ambassador for Alys Beach, Diana also promotes connection within the greater South Walton community, collaborating with neighboring towns and area organizations on policy and communications initiatives, helping to strengthen those ties and promote shared values. Working closely with the Alys Beach events team has created opportunities to support impactful organizations like the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA), which continues to champion creative growth, artistic platforms, and culturally enriching experiences for the community.

A graduate of Florida State University, Diana relocated to Walton County from Tallahassee in 2019, bringing over 15 years of experience in public relations and earned media strategy for travel and tourism clients nationwide, including work with the Rosemary Beach Cottage Rental Company and the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corporation. Throughout her career, exploring the role of the arts in shaping communities has been both rewarding and inspiring, and she believes Walton County’s breadth of arts talent is truly one of this area’s most vital resources – enhancing the quality of life and the visitor experience along the coast and beyond.

Outside of work, Diana enjoys navigating all that the Emerald Coast has to offer with her family and friends. She is committed to fostering an appreciation for the arts with her two children, and proud to support the CAA’s mission to cultivate a thriving creative community for all who live and enjoy time in Walton County.
