Sonalea Shukri is a mixed-media, acrylic, and watercolor artist with a background in art education and gallery administration. After obtaining her BA in Interdisciplinary Humanities from UWF, Sonalea studied Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London, receiving her MA from the University of Manchester in 2008. Returning to the panhandle in 2017, she took up a position at a local art gallery in Seaside. Since 2024, Sonalea has rediscovered her passion for painting and sells her work at local markets.
