VISUAL ARTIST PROFILE
RILEY ANDERSON

RILEY ANDERSON
Riley Anderson is a Nashville recording artist and songwriter whose music is defined by the eleven years he spent on the railroad. Working as both a conductor and a locomotive engineer, Riley’s perspective was shaped by the long shifts and blue-collar reality of life on the tracks—a background that brings a rare, "lived-in" honesty to his songwriting. Originally from Canada and raised in small-town Georgia, Riley eventually left the stability of the railroad to pursue his calling in Nashville. He is a songwriter first, favoring raw, vulnerable storytelling over polished trends. His 2023 single "Almost" solidified this reputation, capturing the personal journey of loss and hope that preceded the birth of his son. Whether he’s in an intimate writers' round or on a festival stage, Riley delivers a grounded, high-energy performance rooted in the traditions of country music. He has shared the stage with icons such as Tracy Lawrence, Clint Black, and Gary Allan, and performed on the main stage at Gulf Coast Jam for Warren Zeiders and Shane Profitt. From the cab of an engine to the heart of the Southeast music scene, Riley Anderson remains dedicated to the honest, blue-collar anthems that define his craft.
