My glassing career began apprenticing with a local artist where I learned to meld “Old World” stained and leaded glass techniques, then venturing into new generation warm glass and fused glass mosaics. As I continue through my journey of playing with glass, I find myself combining different techniques that I’ve learned along the way resulting in a distinctive style to my pieces.

My artwork is influenced by the stunning beauty of the area which provides endless inspiration on beach and coastal lake scenes, nature andM wildlife, and recreating them in an abstract fused glass and fused glass mosaic designs. Much of my glass art is displayed set in custom metal frames or uniquely carved into pecky cypress wood which is indigenous to the area.
