Amber DeCicco is a Florida-based artist whose work is deeply inspired by the light, color, and atmosphere of the Emerald Coast. Working primarily in watercolor and cyanotype and acrylic, she creates pieces that explore memory, movement, and a sense of place—often drawing from coastal landscapes, shifting skies, native foliage, and the quiet emotional pull of the shoreline.

With a background in graphic design and photography, Amber brings a thoughtful balance of composition, texture, and storytelling to her work. Her collections range from soft, misty seascapes to contemporary cyanotypes and color-driven abstract studies, all connected by a shared focus on atmosphere and emotional resonance.

In addition to her fine art practice, Amber is the founder of Watercolor Whimsy, a plein air watercolor experience designed to encourage creativity, curiosity, and connection through process-based painting classes along the coast. Her work has been featured in juried art festivals across Northwest Florida and is collected by those drawn to calming, coastal-inspired artwork that feels both modern and deeply personal. Amber currently lives and works along Florida’s Emerald Coast with her family, where motherhood, memory, and the surrounding water continue to shape her evolving creative practice.
