This glass is designed to teach the fundamentals of hand building pottery animals in 4 sessions. The first session will teach the age old technique of the pinch pot, followed in the second with using coils and the 3rd will focus on the slab technique. The fourth and final session will allow participants to glaze their own "garden pets" after they have been  bisque fired. The "pets" will then be ready for pick up in about 2 weeks.

Instructor Barbara Suhadolnik first fell in love with creating pottery in college. After years of having nowhere to practice her passion, she started taking classes again two years ago. Since then she has been hand building what she calls "garden pets". As a former teacher, she loves to share her passion with others.
