I started oil painting as a child in elementary school, but did not paint again until my 50's when some health issues arose and I needed to fill my time with an old passion that had never been fulfilled.

I started in watercolor and have not stopped. My training included a few weekend classes, and lots of local classes by Carol Dickson. We live in Santa Rosa Beach, but I am originally from Michigan. My art reflects my love of the outdoors from the North to the South.
