My journey as an artist began with a trip for a three week weaving workshop at Penland, North Carolina. After that workshop, I bought a loom and started weaving. As a fiber artist in the Cleveland, Ohio area I exhibited at various galleries, with the most notable venue being the Cleveland Museum of Art. I won several awards for my weaving with the most notable one being in "The May Show" at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
Ten years ago, I moved to the panhandle of Florida. Here is where my lifelong desire to paint was realized. I bought a set of watercolor paints and some paper and began painting. I have branched out to acrylic paint now and enjoy mixed media. I have had my work on display at The Atrium at Sacred Heart Hospital of The Emerald Coast, Northwest Florida College South Walton Campus and Cultural Arts Alliance.
