Maxine Orange is a multifaceted artist – an abstract mixed media painter with a background in graphic design and a love for fashion. While she continues to explore a wide variety of avenues on her creative journey, Maxine has always been a painter and is grateful for the niche that has been uncovered with her Abstract Bridal Portraits. These works are typically commissioned for a special gift, or created before family and friends live at weddings. Maxine’s unique textured style is apparent by her use of color and texture in both her surrealist landscapes and figurative abstracts. A Montgomery, Alabama native, she loves being back at home in the Southeast – now living in colorful Destin, FL after exploring life in NYC and Huntington Beach, CA. Maxine is also an active board member with the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation and is passionate about cultivating creativity along the Emerald Coast.
