About the Event

This four day class is designed for anyone who would like to extend and work on their wheel practice.   1 day will be working on making narrow neck vases. 1 day will be two different ways to throw plates and platters. 1 day will be trimming the vases using chucks and griffin grips and trimming plate’s using foam bats. 1 day for glazing including underglazes and bubble glazes.  

This classes is for anyone with previous wheel experience. Beginners are welcome, but we will not spend time on the basics of centering and pulling. Any questions on the class please email me and I can help you. Jes_rose_underwood@yahoo. com

This class is available to ages 18 and up. No make-up days/classes are available.

Location: CAA's Miramar Beach Creative Campus

Maximum class size of 6

Minimum class size of 3*

$260 per spot

Time: 9-11:30 AM

Dates: October 4th, 6th, 13th and 27th

*If fewer than the minimum number of participants register, the class will be canceled and refunds issued for those who signed up. 

Instructor Bio:

Jessica Batson has called  Santa Rosa Beach home  since 1984. The influence of living at the beach shows in her work. Raised in an artistic home she has worked in lots of different mediums but currently she focuses on pottery, batik and crochet. She teaches classes and workshops in wheel thrown pottery and batik regularly in Walton County.
