We will complete a painting at each class while learning many techniques and styles so each artist can develop their personal style. A sketch will be provided at each class and all will paint the same subject which will be presented in a step-by-step process.

Cost: $30 / per class for CAA Members and $35/class for those who are not yet CAA Members

Supply List

Paper: arches 140lb  22”x30” sheets. I don’t suggest blocks

Brushes: 1” flat, 1/2” flat, #6 round, #2 round,  #2 rigger

Colors: I prefer Winsor Newton or Cotman watercolor tubes: cerulean blue, Prussian blue, ultramarine blue, diooazine purple (or Holbein mineral violet), alizarin crimson, burnt sienna, new gamboge, and sap green. 

Tools: water bucket, palette, pencil, writing pad (optional), Pebeo masking fluid, tracing paper, tissue, small spray bottle, masking tape, old tooth brush. 

Drawing Board: you could just use a firm piece of cardboard, 14” x 18”, covered completely with masking tape.
