Time & Location
About the Event
Join us on Facebook Thursday, August 19 at 12 p.m. for another virtual Art on Demand event brought to you by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) in partnership with Alys Beach, 30a.com and Florida Department of State, Division of Arts and Culture.
In this episode, meet local artist Sarah Page. Discover how she began her journey as an artist and was inspired to begin painting large scale murals. You’ll learn the stages of creating a mural while watching her bring one to life in Grand Boulevard’s Town Center. You might even pick up a pro tip or two!
Sarah Page is a painter, muralist and graphic designer based in Florida. She’s an “adventure artist,” drawing inspiration from exploring the wild places of Florida and using her art for activism. Her work captures a combination of realism and abstraction with a focus on wildlife and natural landscapes. Her personal mission is to inspire Floridians to love and protect our beautiful environment.
Sarah left a decade-long career in non-profit marketing and fundraising to pursue the arts full-time. She was an open-call winner in the 2018 SHINE St. Pete Mural Festival and has painted several murals across Florida. She exhibited in MIZE Gallery’s ICONS Show in St. Petersburg and was a resident artist of Zero Empty Spaces in Palm Beach.
Sarah went to high school in Santa Rosa Beach and has lived throughout Florida, including the Tampa Bay area and West Palm Beach. She’s grateful to be back on the Emerald Coast exhibiting her artwork in her hometown community.
This event will be viewable on the 30A Facebook page as well as available post-premiere on the CAA’s website at CulturalArtsAlliance.com. For more information about Sarah, visit SarahPageArt.com.
