About the Event
We invite you to join the CAA and special guest Randy Cohen, Vice President of Research at Americans for the Arts, to hear the AEP6 results and learn new insights on the growth of the arts and culture sector in Walton County on Monday, October 23 at Cafe Nola at 400 Nelson Ave in downtown DeFuniak Springs beginning at Noon. Enjoy lunch on us!
As you already know, the arts and culture industry supports jobs, generates government tax revenue, strengthens the visitor economy and community vibrancy, and helps to preserve authentic cultural experiences. Americans for the Arts recently launched The Arts & Economic Prosperity 6 (AEP6), a report that measures the economic & social impact of nonprofit arts & culture organizations & their audiences. The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) is one of 373 national nonprofit organizations who spent a year and a half gathering data by conducting targeted audience-intercept surveys from event attendees from January 2022 through April 2023. Over 800 responses were collected in Walton County alone.
