Join local artist Linda Kernick for this fun workshop! Students will draw an abstract shape on canvas. Then choose colors and paint the abstract using acrylic paint. When the canvas is dry, students will choose one or more stencils from an assortment of stencils provided by the instructor. When this is painted, the student will have a completed painting to take home.

Student will provide supplies, in addition to some provided by the instructor.

Canvas, either 10x10 or 12x12

Acrylic paints

Brushes

Water container and apron

Paper towels

Pencil

Linda Kernick is experienced in teaching art workshops, most recently for the Arts and Design Society in Fort Walton Beach. She enjoys relating to the students, and encouraging them on their art journey.
