Using acrylic paint and mediums, learn three techniques to build layers and highlight the beautiful.

Come paint with me! I’ll show you step-by-step how I create rich, deep layers to build a beautiful abstract painting. A 12x18” canvas will be provided that I’ve pre-painted with some base layers of color. Together, we’ll add depth and interest using three techniques:

1. A color wash with partial removal

2. Masking with tape/contact paper

3. Embellishments and mark making to tie the layers together.

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned artist, you’ll have fun, get inspired and create something beautiful!
