Collage - Exploring Beyond the Glue with Marti Schmidt

Contemporary Painter and Printmaker Marti Schmidt  will take a playful approach to teaching the process of Mono Print printmaking and Collage.  In Day 2, Collage - Mixed Media, you will go through the fundamentals of collage and have hands on lessons in design and technique.  

Day 2 - Collage - Mixed Media

• If you attended Day 1,  please bring the finished mono prints to create a work of art that combines the mono prints with assorted papers and paints to create a one of a kind painting.
• If you are only attending Day 2, please bring artwork from another source to be used or you can create an image in class.
• Marti will demonstrate the process and techniques she learned from other artists around the world to create unique works of art.  Example of artworks from collage artists will be shown.
• Types of adhesives and papers will be discussed and explored, resulting in a comprehensive understanding of collage as an art form.
• The remaining class time will be spent creating unique works of art utilizing and interpreting the techniques learned. 

$95 for members per day plus a $30 supply fee

$105 for nonmembers per day plus a $30 supply fee
